We make up a range of adaptors to move between fittings. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003eThe most popular adaptor is reducing from 1 1\/4\" hose from our high flow diverters down to 1\/2\" hose. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis can be useful when running a soaker hose directly from a diverter or running a long piece of 1\/2\" solid hose from a diverter over a long distance when a larger hose would be uneconomical. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe draw back of reduction is this can throttle the flow resulting in peak flow exceeding the 1\/2\" hose capacity. The excess flow will throttle back over the diverter weir and lost down the drain. One way of increasing capacity is increasing the fall of the 1\/2\" hose or ensuring a section can run under pressure if throttling occurs.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese are made to order, so The excess flow will throttle back over the diverter weir and lost down the drain.
